Oh my!!!

Well I haven't blogged in a couple months! Things have just been so busy/stressful/just CRAZY! Sooo... I got a new job, and I absolutely LOVE it! I am a server in a dining room at an assissted living home. I get to take old peoples orders and bring them their food. I just can't express how much I love it! It is so fun. The people I work with are so great, and the residents are just so wonderful! Sometimes they get kind of cranky, but overall they are just so sweet! That is a new great step in my life... I actually have a job I like! Haha

So my family has a horse, and my dads friend has a horse. Our horse is a boy, and his horse is a girl... when boys and girls get together.... well you know what happens! haha Needless to say the girl horse (Dancer) and the boy horse (Indie) had a baby together! It is a cutie little girl! We went up to see her the day after she was born. I don't even think she was a day old when we saw her. My dad and his friend haven't named her yet, but they are thinking about Dancers Jewel. And the name I came up with was Jewel.... because she has a big white spot on her forehead! So I think I am naming the horse! I was excited when my dad told me that was an idea for a name! Here are some pictures!

That is Dancer with her little baby No Name for now! We had to cage them into the barn because Indie can't be around the baby for a while. He would hurt her.

And that is Connor riding our horse Indie. The other day Indie bucked my dad off of him while he was riding. Indie is just very stubborn and hasn't been ridden in a long time. But my dad and Connor are fearless!

It is so great to have animals. We also have chickens...

And some goats... but I don't have any pictures of them yet! It has been so fun going up and building the chicken coop and taking care of the horses!

Tag you are IT!

So saw this... and thought I would do it... enjoy.

1. Open your first photo folder

2. Scroll to the 10th photo.

3. Post the photo and the story behind it.

4. Tag 5 or more people... but I don't want to tag anyone else! So feel free to just do it!

So... I was in high school when I took this picture. I love my moms face in it! She is just beautiful! Anyway, I was sitting in the kitchen talking to my mom and sisters. I think I was taking random pictures with the camera I just got... So I was going crazy taking pictures! I took tons and tons of pictures or my mom and my sisters. It was funny because Bridget had this little bear and bunny that she would carry around all the time and hold while she sucked her thumb. She was the cutest. She used to call them "buyah" for the bunny, and "bees" for the bear. It was the CUTEST! She still holds them up to her face when she sleeps. Anyway, she kept putting the bear in the pictures, like sneaking it in in really funny ways. So all the other pictures are funny. And I am pretty sure they were trying to model. I love my mom and sisters so much! It was a fun night!

Don't go away...

So this last weekend was one of the most uplifting weekends of my life! I had the opportunity to listen to the Prophet and Apostles of our church! On Saturday I got ready and went to the church to watch conference. I didn't want to stay home because there were a lot of distractions at my house, and I just felt like I really needed to go to the church to focus on it. The first session was just amazing! I went to conference thinking of questions I had, and things in my life that I needed help with. Boy, were all of my worries and prayers answered! It was amazing! After the first session I had the opportunity to sing at a baptism with my mom. I love singing with her! The baptism was so wonderful, and there was such a sweet spirit there as well. After the baptism I went to the second session with my brother Aidan. (I love him so much! He is such a sweet brother!) That session was just as good as the first one, and again, I was definitely uplifted! On Sunday I stayed home and watched conference with my family. After it was over we watched a movie about Emma Smith! She was a great woman.

So the themes of conference that I saw were:
1. Finding hope and faith in our lives.
2. Family's and a lot about MOTHERS!
3. Trials, and how to work through them.

I loved that there were so many talks about mothers. I love my mom so much, and I love the way she raised me. She is just so wonderful! I don't remember who said it, but one of the Apostles said that Motherly love was the closest love to the Saviors love. I just LOVED that quote. Haha so full of love!

Anyway, I realized in my life that I just really need to have the Spirit with me always. I feel so empty and sad when I don't have it with me. So I am striving to be better in my scripture study and prayers. I don't ever want the feeling I had this past weekend to go away. It is too uplifting to leave!

Birthday and Easter!

So my birthday was on Friday! I have been kind of down lately just about everything, and I thought that this birthday was going to be the worst ever!!! But I woke up on Friday morning and got breakfast in bed! Then Ashley and Katie took me out to lunch. We went to Qdoba, and then we went to the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory! What is better than chocolate? Nothing! Ok JK But it is still so wonderful! We hung out for a bit after lunch and it was so great! Then that night, Aidan and I went to see The Clash of the Titans. It was a great movie! So that was such a good birthday. Tonight I had my birthday dinner. I had steak and potatoes and artichoke! It was simply amazing! Then we did presents and cake! Yumm!

So today was Easter, and what a great day it was! I got to listen to conference and be so uplifted! It was so wonderful! I had a good time with my family as well! They are so funny! It is so crazy when we are all around each other for long periods of time! My sister Fiona was being so funny! She said some really funny things today. She was talking about my dad snoring and said that she could talk to him in snores and understand what he was saying when he snored! She is such a crack up! Then, she leans over to me very quietly and says, "Kennedy, do you have any secret moles?" And I said, "No, do you?" She said YES! Haha I was like well where is it? She said she wouldn't tell me, but kept going on and on about her secret moles, and she thought I had one! What a crazy! She is just so funny all the time!

The three younger kids in my family did an Easter egg hunt. My dad hid the eggs, and hid them hard! My mom had a golden egg and the winner got what was inside. Bridget did so well hunting for her eggs. Aidan and Fiona kind of had some problems... Fiona didn't want to look at all for any eggs. She was so funny. At one point she got so fed up with looking for them that she dropped her bag of eggs and ran across the street. She is so dramatic! haha So Bridget found the golden egg and found all of her eggs first! After I opened all my presents Fiona, Aidan, Bridget, and my dad got into a fight with the plastic eggs. They were all over the living room. I got hit with one of those things and they hurt! Too funny! So over all it was a great day, and wonderful birthday! I love my familly so much! Here are some pictures!

Birthday!

So excited about the shoes!

Hunting for eggs

When I took this picture, my dad said, "We have the Easter Bunny here with us today!" So funny! Needless to say Fiona got really mad after she realized what he did!

Bridget found the golden egg!

Aidan reminds me of when he was just a little guy! Love him!

Fairytales!

I love watching Disney movies. They just give so much hope that you will be happy just like them... and as we know, we get that certain happiness for eternity! That is the only part Disney doesn't get. Haha I watched The Princess and the Frog tonight with Mel. It was a really cute funny movie. I have been contemplating life lately... haha sounds dumb when I say it like that out loud. But I really have.... I was talking to my mom about how I just want everything to fall into place perfectly, and that I am just waiting for things to go right and be perfect. She immediately said, that never happens. We can't just sit around and wait for things to impact our lives. We have to get out there and do it! It is kind of a hard principle for me to grasp... but again, I am working on it, like so many other things. :) I am a very impatient person... so when I want something, and it doesn't happen right now, I get kind of crabby. Haha But life is good... I am keeping my head up. Or trying to at least! Haha
